Treat your body with these three smoothies
It’s summertime and it’s also healthy time in our kitchens since we tend to eat a lot of heavy stuff I thought I’d show you some light smoothies you can make throughout the day to balance out the heavy with the light. Treat your body with these three smoothies:
fruity
- 250ml milk (any kind)
- 1-2 bananas
- 100 g frozen berries
- 30 g rolled oats
This one is perfect for hot summer mornings after a workout or just to fill up your body with nutrients without eating something very heavy. Most of us have all of these ingredients and if not they are all super affordable and you can buy them in bulk when they are discounted.
green
- 250 ml green tea
- 1 banana
- A handful of spinach
- A piece of ginger
This one is definitely a spring smoothie. It just gives of the vibe of spring in my opinion. It’s fruity but also green and a little spicy. I make this one less often but it’s great to get in your greens for the day and feel healthy at the end of a long day.
spicy
- 250 ml milk (any kind)
- 1-2 banana(s)
- A little tiny bit ginger
- as much cinnamon spice as you want
For some reason this one is my go to. I often leave out the ginger cause we mainly have that in the winter put my lazy breakfast go to smoothie is a banana cinnamon smoothie. The only thing my lazy brain needs to do is clean the tools used afterwards and I’m happy for a few hours.
